About
About Red Clay Roofing
Red Clay started in 2007 with one truck and a magnet on the door. Nineteen years later we are eleven people, and we still only work Cobb, Cherokee and north Fulton — close enough that if something goes wrong on a roof we put on, somebody can be back at the house that afternoon.
We do not knock doors after a storm. If a crew shows up at your house uninvited within a day of hail, be careful: the ones who chase weather across state lines are gone before the warranty means anything.
What we do instead is get on the roof, take pictures, and tell you honestly what we see. A good half the time the answer is that you have some wear but no claim, and you should wait. We would rather say that and get the call in four years than sell you a roof you did not need.

Why us
Three quotes look identical on paper.
We only work three counties
Cobb, Cherokee and north Fulton. Close enough that if something goes wrong on a roof we installed, somebody can be back at the house that afternoon.
The owner runs your inspection
Marcus does most first inspections himself. The person telling you what is wrong with your roof should be the person who has to stand behind it.
You see the decking
Once the old roof is off we photograph the bare deck before anything covers it. It is the part you are paying for and the part you would otherwise never see.
We will tell you to wait
About half of our inspections end with "you have wear, not a claim, call us in four years". We would rather have that call than sell you a roof you did not need.
