Why us
Three quotes look identical on paper.
We only work three counties
Cobb, Cherokee and north Fulton. Close enough that if something goes wrong on a roof we installed, somebody can be back at the house that afternoon.
The owner runs your inspection
Marcus does most first inspections himself. The person telling you what is wrong with your roof should be the person who has to stand behind it.
You see the decking
Once the old roof is off we photograph the bare deck before anything covers it. It is the part you are paying for and the part you would otherwise never see.
We will tell you to wait
About half of our inspections end with "you have wear, not a claim, call us in four years". We would rather have that call than sell you a roof you did not need.
How a storm claim actually goes
Photographs first. Then the claim.
The order matters more than most homeowners are told, and getting it backwards is the single most expensive mistake after a hailstorm.
- Step 1
We get on the roof
Every slope walked, impact points marked and photographed with the date on the file. Around 45 minutes, and you get the report either way.
- Step 2
You find out if you have a claim
Sometimes the answer is wear, not storm damage, and filing would cost you more than it returns. We will tell you that.
- Step 3
You file, with evidence attached
Your adjuster sees the same photographs you do. Scopes come back closer to complete when the damage is already documented.
- Step 4
We replace it, and show you the decking
One day for most houses. Before anything gets covered back up, you get photos of the bare deck — the part you are actually paying for.
What we do
Roofing, materials and the exterior work around it.
Roofing
Roof Replacement
Quoted per squareTear off to the decking, replace any rotted sheathing, new underlayment, ice-and-water at the valleys and eaves, then shingles. We show you the decking before it gets covered.
Roof Repair
From $450Most leaks are flashing, not shingles — a chimney, a pipe boot, a valley that was never lapped right. We find the actual entry point rather than patching where the ceiling stain is.
Storm & Hail Inspection
No chargeWe walk every slope, mark impact points, and photograph them with the date on the file. You get the report whether or not you hire us — it is yours to hand your adjuster.
Emergency Tarping
From $350Active leak after a storm. We get a tarp anchored the same day to stop water getting into the deck and the drywall while the claim is sorted out.
Gutters
Gutter Replacement
From $9 per footSeamless aluminium rolled on site, hung with hidden hangers and pitched properly. Usually done alongside a roof replacement, because the drip edge and the gutter have to tie in together.
Gutter Repair & Realignment
From $185Sagging runs, pulled spikes, separated seams and downspouts that were never pitched. Often the real cause of a fascia board that keeps rotting.
Gutter Guards
From $7 per footWorth it under pine and oak, which is most of Cobb County. We fit micro-mesh over the existing run where the run is sound, and tell you when it is not.
Gutter Cleaning & Inspection
From $145Twice a year under heavy tree cover. We clear the runs and downspouts, flush them, and send photos of anything we find at the roof edge while we are up there.
Roofline & Exterior
Soffits & Fascia
Quoted per runThe boards behind the gutter. Rot here is nearly always a drainage problem rather than a roof problem, so we fix the cause before replacing the timber.
Skylight Repair & Replacement
From $650A leaking skylight is usually failed flashing or a perished seal, not the glass. Replacement units go in during a re-roof while the deck is already open.
Attic Ventilation
Quoted per roofRidge vent, soffit intake and the balance between them. Georgia attics cook, and poor ventilation is what takes ten years off an otherwise good roof.
Materials
Architectural Asphalt Shingle
What goes on the large majority of Cobb County roofs. Thicker and heavier than a three-tab, rated for the wind we actually get, and available in the colours most neighbourhoods expect.
Impact-Resistant Shingle
Class 4 rated. Worth pricing if you have been hit twice, because several carriers discount the premium on a Class 4 roof — ask yours before you decide.
Standing Seam Metal
Concealed-fastener metal, usually on porches, low-slope sections and modern builds. Longer life than asphalt and a different price bracket; we will tell you honestly whether your roof suits it.
Before you call anyone
How to tell whether your roof needs looking at.
You can check most of this from the ground in ten minutes.
Signs your roof needs looking at
- It is past twenty years old, whatever it looks like from the ground
- Granules collecting at the bottom of your downspouts after a storm
- Shingles curling at the corners, or missing entirely after wind
- Dark streaks or soft patches visible on a slope
- A ceiling stain that comes back after it dries
- Daylight visible through the roof boards from inside the attic
- Dimpling on gutters, downspout elbows, window wrapping or the AC condenser — soft metal shows hail before shingles do
“Anybody can put shingles on. The part that matters is what is underneath them, and whether you were shown it.”
Our work
Roofs at every stage, including the ugly middle.
Tear-off and bare decking, not just the finished slope from the kerb. That middle part is where you find out what you bought.
From homeowners

“The adjuster came back with about half of what the roof needed. Yolanda pulled the photos, walked him through the back slope, and the supplement went through in a week. I would not have known to argue.”

Full replacement after April hail, East Cobb
“Marcus got up there, came down, and told me I had maybe six years left and no claim worth filing. Did not charge me. That is why he is putting the roof on this year instead of somebody else.”
Ray P.
Inspection 2023, replacement 2026, Kennesaw
“They tarped it the same evening I called, in the rain. The ceiling was already coming down in the back bedroom and it did not get any worse before the claim cleared.”
